Shantel Garcia
Owner and Principal
Shantel Garcia-Roldán founded ICS in 2013 with the mission of helping small business owners and executives keep their companies organized, productive, and profitable. With over 17 years of experience as a senior financial executive in accounting, operations, and administration, Shantel brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to guide leaders in pursuing financial improvement and achieving organizational success. She has extensive experience supporting for-profit and non-profit organizations, helping them navigate financial and operational challenges to meet their goals.
Shantel is a Certified Management Accountant with a master’s degree in business administration from the University of New Haven. She is actively involved in the New Haven business community. She serves as Treasurer of the Board of Directors for Literacy Volunteers of Greater New Haven and as a Board Member for the Connecticut Women’s Consortium. Shantel is passionate about empowering business owners with the insights and tools they need to understand their performance, ensure compliance, and achieve sustainable success.
When she's not running ICS, Shantel enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, tending to her garden, and baking different types of bread.
Apurva Kandhivanam
Accounting Analyst
Growing up in India, Apurva developed a deep love for numbers, whether solving math problems or helping manage household finances. This passion led her to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a major in Finance from Osmania University, providing a solid foundation in financial management. Seeking to expand her analytical skills, she earned a Master's degree in Business Analytics from the University of New Haven, where she explored data-driven decision-making in business.
Before joining ICS, Apurva gained valuable experience at Deloitte, working in Accounts Payable. This role honed her technical skills in managing financial transactions and maintaining vendor relationships, deepening her understanding of how large organizations maintain financial integrity. Multiple internships further enriched her experience, offering hands-on exposure to financial modeling, auditing, and system implementations.
Outside of work, Apurva cherishes her Indian roots and enjoys Indian cinema, finding connection and escape in storytelling and music. Now, as an Accounting Analyst at ICS, she is excited to bring her expertise and passion for numbers to contribute to the team's success and the organization’s financial health.

Rodel Miñoza
Bookkeeper
Rodel earned his Bachelor's degree in Accounting from San Isidro College. Shortly after graduating, he began his career as an accounting staff at a rural bank in the city. He quickly advanced to the role of corporate accountant, where he managed 17 branches and led a team of bookkeepers responsible for ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting for all stakeholders.
Before joining ICS, Rodel gained extensive experience working with various companies across industries such as real estate, food and beverage, logistics, law, and accounting. This diverse background allowed him to hone his financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and full-cycle bookkeeping skills.
In his spare time, Rodel loves watching business reality shows, such as Shark Tank and Dragon’s Den, to gain insight into running a business. He also enjoys going camping with his family on the weekends.
